Default Key FOB

I am wondering if any GM keyless entry fob would work on a 2005 GMC Envoy? Just bought a 2005 Envoy and no key fobs. Have another/extra one from my 1998 Blazer and 1998 Olds. If so, how do I reprogram the keyless entry fob?

Not sure if it'll work or not but the 2nd post in this thread tells you how to program a key fob.

I buy my fobs off of Ebay. Go onto Ebay look up remotes. Find a company that sells them used & the good companies or sellers have a compatibility charts. I learned on my 99 dodge Ram that 2 different fobs were used in 99 Rams. So better to know than guess I think. Everything I learned about those fobs was off ebay. Chevys are a bunch easier but still better be safe.
