Default Keyless remote for a European model 2000 Blazer LS

Hi
I need a spare jeyless entry romote for my 2000 Blazer LS

My Blazer is made for the European marked and i also think the car is made in Graz, Austria

The part number for the keyless entry temote on my car is GM/UTA 15732810

It looks like part numer: 15732805 is the most common used in the US ore most common on ebay so any here knows if i can use the one from ebay?

That should work for you.
Just make sure the one you get one that has the same FCC number or, if I am not mistaken will not work with your module.

Is the FCC number the same number as what it says on my keyless remote?

I have not seen any keyless remote with the number GM/UTA 15732810 which is the number on the keyless remote for my car when looking for a keyless remote on ebay

I am sure that i can buy one with the same number at a parts shop

I believe that the European remotes are discontinued, at least the UK-spec ones are. I have a friend who got around this by purchasing a keyless entry receiver unit from a Blazer in a US junkyard along with 2 matching remotes & installing it into his UK spec Blazer. However, to program them once everthing is installed requires the 5 digit immobilizer code which every European spec Blazer comes with to do so. This code was supplied on a red card with every new vehicle, if you don't have that then it can be accessed with a Tech 2. Hope this helps.
By the way - all export Blazers were built at the Linden, New Jersey plant.
