Default Lift Control arm problems

Ok I ordered new 2-4 inch lift upper control arms I have encountered a problem, my factory ones were shot (original bushings) so I got the tubular lift arms. I'm having problems with the total alignment with the rest if the suspension parts, which I replaced all new. At first the arms were rubbing the inside of the factory rims. So I machined the extra metal off the top where the ball joint is encased. Got down to the size the factory ones were. Now it's not that it seems like their just not fitting right or I'm missing something. Now the old ones had no shims just the caster washers. I thought since I was starting off new they would all line up the same. Please someone tell me what's up.

I'm assuming you have a 4wd. Correct?

From where did you get these control arms. The only ones I know of are from Rough Country and they only sell the upper control arms.

Yes actually they are I had a friend ordered them totaled his blazer so I bought them their the 2-4 inch lift tubular kind, also 4wd or Awd 2000 lt blazer. Do u need to add shock extenders or lower lower control arms? Lower lower ball joints? I've ordered the N3 rough country shocks for front and back. And shackle extenders too let me know.

So your upper control arms are from Rough Country? If so I can't see why they would interfere with stock wheels on a 4wd Blazer.

Below is the link for the RC 2.5" lift kit. It does not include lower control arms. It also has hardware for remounting the front axle a bit lower. I am pretty sure the shocks supplied are designed for the lift.

You can the parts list to compare to what you have.

Thanks yes I've most of the parts I'm basically making my own lift with some parts from rough country,N3shocks, leaf shackle extenders, torsen keys, differantial drop bracket, and sway bar bracket. I think I've got it covered. But my CA's seem not to line up geometricly. Maybe I need some caster, toe in toe out, instructions since I've never did this before. I already have 31's on it and no rubbing.i font have nothing but factory on the suspension. Please help correct this or maybe I'll take to get professionally aligned.

It sounds like you are attempting a similar lift as I did.

Have you a copy of the RC installation instructions?

The RC upper control arms should work. This might sound crazy, but is it possible you tried to install them on the wrong side, i.e., L for R and R for L??
