This just started happening about a week ago. When driving at night, my headlights and dash/console lights pulse and flicker very noticeably and at a steady rate. Is this a sign my alternator is going? The dash voltage gauge says the battery is fine and there doesn't seem to be any noticeable engine noise pulses when idling. I drive a '97 Zr2 Blazer. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

 

my 97 jimmy did this about a year or so ago. it was just the light switch going bad, had it replaced and haven't had any problems since.
