Default A little black box

Hiya everyone, I just replaced the parking brake pedal assembly and while taking off the assembly it I accidentally yanked an orange wire out of an important looking black box,and I was wondering if anyone know what it is. Ever since that happened I noticed the fuel gauge had dropped down and not responsive anymore. The brand on it says "United Technologies Automotive" if that helps any.

Thank you in advance!

Receiver for key FOB. Check the fuses, one may have blown when yanking on orange wire.

Thank you for the reply Captain! I unplugged the battery, as soon as I heard the alarm go off, so yes thanks for heads up! =)
