Default Low Beam problems.

Ok on my 98 blazer I have this issue now where when I start the car the low beams come on right away.. thus giving me quad daylight driving lights and at night I can turn the high beams on and off just fine except on high beam the low beams still are on.. they never shut off.. I have replaced the DRL relay and the other light relay in the fuse box under the hood. no difference at all. So now i'm wondering where to look and what is causing the low beamers to stay on full time.

A couple of questions
when you push in your e-brake dureing the day your drl should go off do your low beems shut off
and have you done anything that had to do with wireing raido lights alarm auto start ect.......
if the drl thing works you may want to read this post

To tell you the truth it sounds like something back feeding the low beem switch it could be a short in the switch its self

Did u check the 15amp fuses in the under hood fuse box? I think there is one for left and right side a total of 2 fuses.

havent checked a fuse since the lights are on. not sure what the parkign brake has to do with lights but will check it shortly since i'm heading out to work in a few minutes. and I havent done anything with the electrical except a few months back i tapped into the low beam wire at the headlight bulb for a fog light tap. will see what happens today with the parking brake. Quad lights wouldnt bother me at all but I like having my fog lights on in this area. cant have them stay on with high beams though as it is illegal in Pennsylvania.

well the drl go out when i hit the parking brake, but the low beams are stuck on... I have completely unhooked the fog lights from the system and no affect change. I just do not know what could make the low beams come on and stay on. like i posted earlier, I changed out the relays in the fuse box already and made no diff.. next step i'm going to try tomorrow is swapping out the DRL control box... I just dont know where to look now beyond that..
