Moonroof clicks and wont open on one side

Moonroof clicks and wont open on one side
Hey guys I have a 1998 blazer and the power moonroof works on my right side track but the left wont work and I get a clicking sound like plastic gears slipping. The sound comes from the motor area in the roof ???
any suggestions on what to do?????
