Firstly the UK/EU cars have an emmobilizer on them. God only knows why!!!It goes wrong and only the dealer can contact the USA for a new unlock code. It will cost me in the ball park of $ 3000 to fix and transport. I know i am mad in the head but i really like the truck and i want it working and able to start. I wish i was in the USA, if i was ia could sort this with no problem. If anyone has any ideas on this please let me know. I would say there are a lot of other people over here that would like to know.

holy crap its gonna run you 3 grand to fix/transport it? that's a significant amount of money to say the least!

pm me - i'd think and its worth a shot, for a whole lot less to just have me send out a new computer and body control module to replace the stuff in your's now to bypass the immobilizer. I'll chat with my former GM Tech friend to see if there might be any difference between the programming in them other than the immobilizer of course.
