i have a 98 blazer i was on my way home over head read out went out on me and then my check engine lite came on then my abs light and speedo stoped and trans started shifting hard i stop as soon as it did that but didnt check any thing pulled right back out and it didnt want to shift so i limped it home about 2hrs later went to stored in it it started to miss but staightened right up then trans started shifting corretly but the next day it went back to not wanting to shift but if i floor it and speed up real high rmps the speedo tries to work then trans feels like it shifted but feels like it sliping if i step on it agein it down shifts when i let off gas try to drive norm its stuck in lower gear or sliping filling any one know what i can do to fix it

The first thing we need is for you to get codes read, at autozone advance o'reilly's etc
Then come back with the actual codes, NOT what someone thinks they mean.
Codes start with a letter then four digits.
Did you happen to do any work underneath the car recently.. or go off-road through brush or anything?
Crawl under and look for wiring coming anywhere near the exhaust.
Meantime pull the ABS and cruise control fuses.

I checked wiring could not find and thing bad ill try the fuses thanks

You know a clogged up cat can feel alot like transmission problems if it will shift into first under pressure its most likely not the tranny.

Ok thanks ill check it out i dont think my trany is bad it just started out of on were never any probs out of trany before
