Going to try a new O2 sensor this weekend and will look into the ground wire also. The gas guage needle will bounce around when I first start up going from Full to Half and then somewhere in between for about a minute then will stop. I will also see about getting a fuel pressure test done in the next couple oof weeks unless the truck starts acting up.

Update::: Took truck by a muffler shop. they tested the system and said that the Cat is deffinately bad. They tested the O2 sensors and said they are working properly. Was Told it would cost $700 to replace cat and exhaust system from cat back. I think I can find a cheaper price. Will do some checking tomorrow. If I knew how to weld I'd do it myself.

EASTERN CATALYTIC Part # 50363
$263.79 from rock auto.

from the looks of it you cant buy "just" the cats. you have to buy the whole y pipe back. If i were you id buy the setup, but cut the flanges off the new system that connect it to the manifolds and have them welded onto your existing pipe. 99% of my life of removing manifold bolts at least 1 breaks, and is a pita to remove.

I have done some checking with some of the local parts stores. I have found a universal cat to put on. All I have to do is cut the cat off and reweld the new one back in place. Looks Like I'll have to do the same thing for a muffler. I measured my Cat and muffler and found universals for both. Now to find a shope that will install them for me fairly cheap.
