No Brake Lights, No power to Brake Light Switch
the other day i noticed that both of my brake lights were out on my 96 chevrolet blazer! The parking lights are still working as well as the blinkers! The hazard lights are not working either! I have changed the bulbs. I have also changed the brake switch! I have checked the wiring harness on my trailer hitch and all seems to be in tact! I have recently found that i am not getting power to the fuse for the brakes or the brakes switch! Whats wrong??

Does the third brake light work? If not, the likely cause is a blown STOP HAZ fuse (fuse #1 - 15A) in the fuse box.

My first gen did this last summer turned out the wire had a break in it on the way to tails took me a couple days of checking everything before I found the issue. Save yourself some time and put a continuity tester on it just to make sure you do not have a similar problem. Once found it was a simple matter to solder and heat shrink a new wire in place (I didn't trust repairing the old one if it broke once how long before it happened again?)
