I'm getting a no crank no start issue on a 96 s10 blazer, ive tried jumping it, tapping the starter relay and the starter, ive made sure the transmission is in park, the only weird thing that i can think might have something to do with it is the gear selector light remains on even when the ignition is off and has been for a long period of time, if anyone has any ideas im happy to listen, thank you.

 

Pull the crank fuse and see if you get 12v on either fuse socket with the ignition in the start position.
