ok and if i do smell gas what do i have to fix also today it died on me as i was driving and when i was driving couldnt give it more then quater thottle whats wierd is atfer it died started right back up ran great like new now its back to the same crap

 

if the gas smell is real strong it may be your central injector that is bad also if the egr valve is stuck or plugged that may cause problems like you are having easy way to check this is take the egr off and try to knock some of the carbon out of it put it back in and see if it is better or worse
