OIL COOLER HOSES 2001 BLAZER - INFO NEEDED
Can anyone tell me how (step by step) to replace the oil cooler lines( front & rear) on a 2001 Blazer LT 4X4 V-6 engine.
I bought the hoses at NAPA and they are made by Dorman and got both front & rear for $78.
(The same hoses at AutoZone were $128.) and both sets are "Made in China" which surprised me.
I looked in the Chilton manuals and they were sketchy and talked about "lifting the engine off the motor mounts and not jacking it up at the oil pan" to remove the rear hose ???
I had hoses fail and replaced by a dealer at 28000 and now they are leaking at 52000
Any factual info regarding the 2001 Blazer model oil line change is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
