oil cooler line removal question
10 bucks? damn, they quoted me here locally for that at the GM dealer for 50 bucks. I laughed and hung up and got it on amazon for I think 10.
I think your local GM dealer is trying to make all their money off you in one sale! haha
I buy a lot of my GM parts from them here because they will usually beat the local auto parts stores, and I get the real parts. I even bought a set of 35" BFG KMs years ago, because they were the cheapest in town.

Its insane what they try to charge.
This is something new to me, my wife has an'05, and when I last changed the oil, I noticed that the lines at the housing were wet with oil, not leaking, but wet. I don't remember much room under the engine however. Anyone know if this mod will work on hers?
OK guys
I removed the adapter and what a pia to get the cooler lines disconnected. I screwed the 14081300 gm part into the block, but I cannot get the oil filter to clear the drive shaft. I tried using the same one that was on the original with no luck. Is there a particular oil filter to use for this modification? My blazer is a 1995. Also, how do I remove the mount bar that is fastened to the motor and extends to the bottom of the transmission housing? The mount bar is between the cooler line, and I could not figure out on how to get a socket in there to remove the bolt from the motor.. What is the trick to this?
Thanks
