Default Oil Leak

Heres the deal, I had a coolant leak so i replaced the Lower intake manifold gasket. During reassembly, I had a dumb a** moment where i read the torque specs wrong and tried to tighten the intake manifold to 35 Ft lbs..... I figured id keep my fingers crossed. Now I see an oil leak occurring. Should I dig in and try to replace the gasket again with the right specs or look towards something else?

you may have have squeezed all the sealant out of the back side of the lower intake when you over tightened it...i am guessing you then backed the bolts out to proper torque and created a gap....just my guess.

but hard to tell till you take a look....if it wasnt there before i would say its safe to say recent activity may be connected to it.

right now its coming from a place I cant see so most likely back of engine, its also at the same exact spot underneath where the coolant was leaking.(pic below) As for the manifold itself, I actually didnt realized I over torqued it untill the next morning. I figured I would just try to leave it alone and hope for the best since it didnt leak or anything on the 45 minute drive home. I never had the chance to get the proper torque but it was over torqued by almost 3x the specs.

maybe a crank seal and your manifold gasket?
