Oil Leak
I replaced my lines this morning. Not too hard to do. I think the hardest part was getting the 10mm bolt back in the bracket. I couldn't really see what I was doing, and I could barely get a ratchet in there. Actually, it was finger tight to begin with. I don't know if someone replaced them before, I got the car in 2002 with 30k on it.
Anyways, it was not too bad, thanks to the help I got here.

there should have been a two o ring washer/gasket(kinda looks like a figure 8)that came with the new lines , at least dormans do! if not remove the old one and clean and inspect for cracks or leaks. then replace if ok. and yes these lines always go and always will. kyle came up with an idea on how to replace those lines with hydroulic ones, but i cant remember how. u should pm him(swartlk)
There is an "O" ring on the oil filter adapter at the block, there is also a gasket. There are 2 bolts holding the adapter to the block.

I am replacing my oil cooling lines, also have a leak at the oil filter mount, so I got a gasket kit, 7-O rings, and 2-flat gaskets, shown in Chevy Lover's attachment. My question is, do I need to use RTV or anything with the gaskets? thanks
