i didn't really like fort benning. i stayed at the barracks up from sand hill while i waited to ship to the big island. general pattons HQ was built on stilts the bldgs i mean. they sucked. i lived in a house built in 1903 than didnt creak and moan as bad. had a tree freeze and a branch fell through my roof. go figure its Georgia. its the south freezing rain and snow. it was oct. and yea i got my 214 and told i couldn't play soldier anymore.

haha yeah i hate benning. Summers are brutal and winters are horrible. I cant think of anything i liked about that place except the churches chicken thats across from the school if your coming from the sand hill area go towards the firing ranges near the airborne facility

Feet and Knees together boys. i got out of bragg with just under 50 jumps (3 years deployed son!) i tore a nerve in my right inner thigh (inside of my leg is dead to the touch) but managed to run off the DZ every time.

I was planning to go 11 anything, but didn't want to have to walk.... when i found out 3 mps get to drive around with more fire power than an infanty squad, i was sold

but, everyone knows all you need is an infantry squad, and you can conquer the world
