Default Outside/Swing-Away Tire Carrier Swap

I have the opportunity to buy a Outside/Swing-Away Tire Carrier off of a 2000 2-Door S10 Blazer to go on my 1995 4-Door S10 Blazer.

I do not have physical access to the Carrier prior to purchase to try the fit-up so, The question is, will the 2000 fit on my 1995 4-Door?

Has anyone tried this swap or know if the 2000 2-Door Outside/Swing-Away Tire Carrier will fit on the 1995 4-Door?

Thanks in advance.

I dont know if someone got back to you on this or not, or if you figured it out but putting a tire carrier on a 4 door is possible, just dont know if a 2000 fits a 95.

Hey! Regarding this: no problem,as the only difference with th 2dr vs 4 dr is the slant of the back glass, which has no effect on the tail gate(provided you have the the split-tail)
Be advised though: when I looked into doing this to my 97 Jimmy,I found some articles relating to sheet metal strength of vehicles not originally equipped with these..HMMM...
But the bodies are the same so let us know! Thanks!
