Default Paint the roof!

A few years ago I covered the front half of the roof with a vinyl wrap and panted the back half with rattle can black. It all got pretty disgusting looking so today i scraped off wrap and DA sanded the whole roof. It is still pretty disgusting (pic)!

I am ready to paint it. I am mostly looking for something doable in an afternoon in black that won't peel off. As a bonus it would cover up the scratches and the transition lines from where patches of paint peeled off, though this is not so necessary since the roof is mostly not noticeable. I have two cans of Plasti-dip leftover from painting the wheels but I noticed there is some peeling there so I am a little suspicious that Plasti-dip is a good solution for what I want. Maybe a couple coats of paint-on Rustoleum? Spray on bedliner? ??

Looking for some ideas

Okay, well, I spread a layer of rust reformer on the roof and ran out and bought a quart of Rustoleum semi gloss and a couple of foam brushes. Guess I'll get to work.
Later: Two findings: 1. Rustoleum is pretty thick stuff and 2. Foam brushes are awesome.
