Default passenger seat prob

after being released to be brought forward to let ppl get into my back seat on my 2003 2 door, it will not 'click/lock' back into place unless forcefully pushed back all the way. then works fine.
why??
thanks

The section you posted in might be the reason... People generally do not read through the builds section looking for people in need of help.

Does your seat look like this:

I would check for a loose or broken spring and maybe spray some silicone onto and into the release mechanism and go from there.
