Default passenger window not working

for those of you in the pa nj de area yesterday was gorgeous at a high of 70, i had all 4 windows down and they worked fine. today, if you can believe it, its 23 degrees outside. i kept all windows right at the vent visor levels overnight

i went to go put up all the windows this morning and all went up but the front passenger. i can hear a winding noise when i hit the switch, so im pretty sure it has juice. is it really possible it fell off the track in the course of being park overnight?

and is there a better step than taking the door panel off? im sure theres not lol

Never done, changed a window motor. Used duct tape to hold the window up and out of the way

right now my window is about an inch down, (i was able to pull it up a little). my window motor and regulator got replaced 2 summers ago. by my once mechanic. so im hoping when i take the panel off the motor is not a clunker

got the door panel off, the damn bolts of the motor were at the bottom of the door. remounted that properly

now heres my next problem.

got the door panel back on, all the sudden it doesnt work again...only goes up not down. and this is from passenger switch and driver switch. apparently when you wiggle the blue wire in the cluster at the lock switch on the passenger side is works...couldnt get it out to clean it. bent the pin on the switch towards the contact and we got it to work.

where and what does that blue wire control? and what can i do to tighten it?
