Please help!! 2000 Blazer wont start
Hello,
I am new here and I sure hope someone can help!! My 2000 Blazer 4.3L Vortex just up and died 3 weeks ago with no warning, no lights came on, no strange noise, just cut off.... We pushed it to a gas station just in case my gauge was wrong and I needed fuel, that didn't help. We tried putting gas in the top of the throttle and it starts but only for a second until the gas burns off, so we towed it home. We checked for codes and got nothing, we check fuel pressure and it is only 20psi, so we change the fuel pump and replace the old fuel filter and still it wont start. So we changed the fuel pressure regulator, no luck, we try for codes again and this time we get P1351, so we change the rotor, distributor cap,ICM and coil, still no start!!!!!!!!! We are tired of throwing parts at it and the only other thing I can think of is electrical from ICM to VCM but have know idea how to start checking this. If anyone has any other ideas please let me know or if you think we are right about the electrical and know how to go about testing this all out, please send me very detail instructions and diagrams. Thanks for any help!

I am sorry for your frustration, but you did it to yourself by throwing money at the problem instead of diagnosing it.
Here is the diagnostic sheet for the code you have present:
P1351 - Ignition Control [IC] Circuit High Voltage
So what are you getting for fuel pressure now? I would have concentrated on that issue since you had verified that with fuel, the engine will run.
