I could be wrong...will be the second time in my life, haha. Anyway, I dont think the hose I found was simply plugged into something to block it..like I said, I could be wrong..

But I feel like it was hooked to something...just dont know what?

Thanks guys.

The reservoir is buried in the fender. You won't see it. No doubt the line coming from it fell into the fender when it fell off. I suggested blocking it off as something to try. The vacuum comes from the motor and goes to 4 things thru hoses and T-fittings: AIR pump actuator valve (your first pic under the battery), 4WD actuator solenoid, heater controls, and the reservoir (just a plastic ball with a fitting and hose) which "evens things out" so when you get on & off the throttle you heater doors don't move and the 4wd doesn't disengage.

Ok, all I got is black hands from the ****.

I tried to plug the hose up, sealed it; no air.....When I did that, nothing changed, at all.

Thanks for the picture, but it didnt help me at all. I don't know if it's the year difference in models, but i went out there and looked around on the fender and everywhere AGAIn and still couldnt find anywhere for the hose to go. I took my laptop out there to look at the picture to find that on my blazer, couldnt relate the two.

Any more suggestions??

Default Im having the same probelm exactly

I also have the mystery hose. it has been hooked up to something, because the end of the hose is spread out where it has been on a fitting. I unbolted the fuse box and the thing that all the brake lines go into, and I see no where it can go. But it is sucking air hard, theres no way my acutator can pull that cable with that much of a lack of vacuum. I need help oooo bad

Default i think i found it...

Ok, after reading a lot of other posts, the mystery hose goes INSIDE the driver side fender. while taking everything apart I noticed a black plastic cover on the fender, next to the abs. there is a Vacuum RESERVOIR in there, supposedly a little ball with a fitting for the hose on it. It has to go there, I dont think there is anywhere else at all it could go, its too short. I live in TN, im going to try it very first thing tomorrow, i got a good feeling!

I hear ya Combs. I am going to try and do the same thing in the morning. My problem is, I cant seem to find where the hose actually goes. I keep hearing about this resevior and that the hoes NEEDS to go there...

haha, I just cant find where that hole is, it's driving me mad.
