Default quick question...torque for valve covers

Hi again, like it says, what's the torque for the valve covers for a 96' blazer?
I replaced the gasket and grommets on both sides. scraped, scotch bright and then brake cleaner. Nice and clean. I also realize that the 3 bolts shoulder out in a rubber grommet but my Chilton manual didn't show the values...what a waste of money for these manuals these days. So much more info here!
Thanks,
Later

believe its around 70, the rubber grommet the bolt goes through also serves to not let you tighten them to much

What, no paint?

Valve cover bolts are 106 inch pounds for 1996 and later (90 inch pounds for 1994-1995). It's at the top of the page in Chiltons, as the torque specs are listed in completely random order.

and before you ask,

Plenum bolts are 88 inch pounds.

Throttle body bolts are 144 inch pounds.

Working on stuff like that, my dad would always tell me, "About a quarter turn before they snap off."
