rear defog not working

Default rear defog not working

ok i had to get a new back window for the jimmy and now the defogger doesnt work. does this mean i need a new window or is this problem easily solveable?

Assuming it's connected properly, you may have a break in continuity through the grid. A simple test with a continuity tester should reveal that. It is possible to fix a break in the grid. I've seem a fix kit available whereby you locate the break, carefully scrape the ends of the grid where the break is and "paint" on a splice. The paint is obviously a conductive paint. Good Luck.

You first should check for voltage at the rear window.

well it worked fine before i replaced the window so im thinkin its the window...but ill check thanks guys
