Rear glass leak - '97 w/lift gate
I noticed water and a wet carpet smell coming from the rear of the Blazer today. It's clearly the seal on the rear glass. I'm going to take the hatch apart tomorrow and see if there's further leak points inside it.
Couple questions - Are there any specific spots that I should check? There was a small amount of water in the latch thing on the floor. Can water get in the whole hatch somehow? Any advice on what products to use as a permanent fix would be nice (is Fairchild good?). Planning on just getting some garbage weather seal from china-mart for now. Thanks in advance.

all you can do is replace the seal no other option unless your window is loose and not making a good fit.

After seeing what china-mart had to offer, I broke down and bought proper weather stripping from the local AZ. The stuff that's for door seals worked better than OEM.
While I was in there, I noticed that the interior lights that had been stuck on for some time, turned off. The pressure switch on the rear glass was sticky. A quick shot of WD-40 cleared things up. I replaced the fuse I'd taken out and now have a horn again.
Two fixes in about 15 minutes. Not bad at all.
