If it's a remote start system, then under the hood, near all the other stickers there should be a "Caution" or "Stop" sticker telling you about how the vehicle has remote start...

And there's going to be a pin style button slong one of the sides of where the hood closes...

both of those depend on the shop. I know in town there are three shops at least that dont put either of them in. best bet would be to look under the dash for a bunch of wires and a brain!

I have a love/hate relatioship with those... they are on my moms Envoy and you can program it to wash the widsheild in case a bug hits the sensor... well when I was cleaning the winsheild, you can imagine...
Her rain sensor is round and about the size of a half-dollar, and is located on the windsheild behind the mirror.. She also has the little OnStarbox just like that on the passenger side3rd window.
