Replacing oil cooler lines w/ stainless?
I need to replace my lines (leaking at all four hose crimps), and would really like to replace them with braided stainless lines and those fancy blue and red anodized fittings. The trouble, I imagine, would be at the filter head side. Am I correct in assuming there are no threads, just that block that bolts on and probably O rings for each line?
I'm thinking I could take that block, cut off the steel lines and thread in fittings for the new hoses. Does anyone know the thread size at the radiator? Thanks.

We have a how-to here for replacing the lines with stock replacements. INTERNAL LINK
There is also a link in one of our threads to an outside source that is doing the same thing, but I see no mentioned of thread size at the radiator. OUTSIDE LINK

NICE that outside link is exactly what I was intending to do. Nice to know my ideas aren't all that crazy.
Hopefully I can find a local source for the lines and fittings.
