Require Help w/ ABS deactivation.

but that's the problem brother, there is no bulb to pull out on these 2nd gen's-@ least not on my year of truck. and i'd rather have that amber ABS light shining, than see a piece of electrical tape on my cluster.
and i did read it Katman. but like i said, i'm already ahead of the disabling game, since my hub is crap.

Pull the cluster, remove the clear plastic, and put the tape directly on the gauges, over the light. You can barely see it. I've got some over my SES light b/c I have no cat and it always throws p0420. I forget its there most of the time. And no one has ever asked about it b/c you can't see it.

not sure if it's an LED, but i figured it probably is, since i don't think (hope?) they're that stupid to hide a light bulb inside a sealed cluster.
and yes this is on my '98.
yeah, i know you could do that as an easy out, but i like to know how things work. which is why i want to know how the actual cluster comes apart.
if it comes down to it, i'm just gonna use BF&I on the spare cluster to see what happens.
but thanks for the suggestion anyways midnight.
