Right "door open" sensor wiring

Right "door open" sensor wiring
This is (kind of) a weird question. I have a '99 4-doorBlazer. I had a heater core problem a couple of months ago (hey, what a surprise?) and removed the dash. While putting the dash back in, for the life of me, I could not find any wire hanging to connect to the right-front door plunger.
So, the question is, "Is the right-front door actually wired so the dome light will turn on/off if the door is open?" If someone tells me that it actually does exist, I am not about to pull that out (again) just to connect but I will keep it in mind to look for it. Is there a way to explain the routing of the wire?

NO it doesn't guys...that is a dummy switch just put there to fill the hole in the dash. The door jamb switch is actually part of the door lock assembly inside the door...stop looking for the harness connector, because it doesn't exist...

Really! That's good to know... Is that just on the newer ones? I could have sworn that my cousins had a switch on his '95...
*EDIT* - now that I look at mine, I don't even have a switch, just a filler plug. LOL
