Right turn Clyde

I have a 1998 blazer LT, on top of the brake problem I posted about, I have a turn signal issue. When I switch on right turn it blinks as if a bulb is blown, but both front bulbs and the rear were good. I even switched all bulbs to the left side and lefts to the right and still left side flashing quickly, and all bulbs working. After eliminating bulbs, cleaning connections and inspecting for loose or pinched wiring, all I can think is it must be in the switch itself. Both signals work from the same relay, so switch or something I'm not thinking of? Thoughts?

Yeah probably in the switch itself or the wiring within the steering column. This is going to take some time and patience to track down especially if within the column.
I would start with the large connector at the column base, make sure all wires are good there first.

Was afraid of that, I may have done something putting the booster in as well, as you know it's pretty tight under the dash especially with bolts behind steering column. thanks for replying.

lannyl81 good call on this one as I was checking wiring at the column I found that a wire from the connector you spoke of had a couple wires almost pulled out of the connector. I think they were making just enough contact to work or maybe even had power jumping a short gap causing the fast flash, but all good now thanks. I suspect I may have done this removing or installing brake booster.

Good to hear that it was the simple fix and not the multi-function switch needing replacement....those a real PITA to do.....getting the large connector down the steering column usually requires taking alot of parts out.

I helped a friend replace a multi function on his 95 and not only was it frustrating it was expensive. What happened to simple mechanical parts and pieces that seemed to last twice as long and cost pennies compared to today's electronic crap. I blame laziness, I mean convenience, sorry.
