Default Slop where cv shaft enters front differential tube

I was looking at the balljoints etc today and noticed some oil leaking from where the cv shaft enters the front differential. The drivers side cv shaft has alot of slop where it enters the Front Diff. Tube.

I hope this makes sense. What do I need for parts. lol

The 4 x 4 works good btw.

The left side does not have an axle tube. The half shaft goes directly into the differential. There is a seal in the differential, to replace it, the half shaft must be removed.

The right side has an axle tube and there is a seal in the outer end of the tube. The half shaft must be removed to replace the seal.

There should not be any radial movement of either half shaft at the seal. Excess radial play will wear the seal and cause it to leak. On the right side there is a bearing behind the seal. On the left side there is a bushing behind the seal. If either shaft has movement, the bushing/bearing needs replacement.

Thanks again Captain.

I'm sure I'll have more questions when I tear into that project.
