Default Sparks?????

Driving home last night I noticed sparks coming from my tailpipe. Not a lot, seems like it would be most frequent when decelerating. Now during the day I cant see any sparks but that doesn't mean they aren't there. No smells, no burning damage that I can see. Oil and coolant levels are normal. Temp runs cool. Any insight on this is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

Is there a slight backfire or popping sound coming from the exhaust on deceleration? If so, the SES light is probably on and a DTC for secondary air. Post the DTC and we can give you the flow chart to find the problem.

Thanks! The SES light is on has been for a bit but the last time I checked it was for an 02 sensor. It's hard to tell if there is backfire or popping b/c the exhaust is loud itself. But I will listen more to it. I will go get it scanned again and post the DTC. Everything runs well, should I not be driving it at all? Auto zone is only a few miles away.

Exhaust leaks will cause oxygen sensor DTC's and could cause backfire on decell too. Driving will not hurt the engine, as long as the exhaust is not blowing on something that burns

I got my codes and there are quite a few......
PO131.....Heated Oxygen Sensor B1 S1 Low Voltage
PO143.....Circuit Condition Heated Oxygen Sensor B1 S3
PO151.....Circuit Condition Heated Oxygen Sensor B2 S1
PO171.....Fuel Trim bank one condition
PO174.....Fuel Trim bank two condition

Two Codes (131 and 143) are considered to recurring.

I have cleaned my air filter and sprayed some carb cleaner in the throttle body. Was going to run some fuel system cleaner as well.

Thanks for any advice

DTC's must be diagnosed & repaired in the order they are retrieved. The reason is simple.... any DTC can set others after it. In other words, your P0131 could be causing all of the others, so it needs to be diagnosed and repaired first. After the repair, clear the memories, perform General Motors Driving Cycle exactly as written. If the SES light stays off, the problem is solved. If the SES light comes on before, during or after the drive cycle, retrieve the DTC and repeat the procedure until no DTC's appear after the drive cycle.
