Also, don't forget that both Jegs and Summit do price matching with the cheapest internet price (shipped to your door) that you can find on exactly the same part and they will get about anything major brand - not just racing parts. Jegs will do it on-line. Summit you have to call them. Both have very liberal/good return policies and in my case one-day ground shipping from either seller in Ohio! No tax collected if you are not in Ohio.

My spider cost about $151 from Amazon after $70 discount for taking one of their credit cards which was at a good interest rate for me anyway. Amazon charges tax for those who live in Indiana, but not in Michigan. Go figure. Guess they have a distribution center here. When buying on Amazon I look for same items sold by "Amazon Stores" for same price or less. Most Amazon stores do not collect sales tax, but you still pay through Amazon - note that these stores do not follow the free shipping for orders above $$ (whatever Amazon is doing these days), so take into account for that.

Advance Auto Parts gives 20% discount for ordering online (for those heavy items like brake rotors that you don't want to pay shipping on) and it is free ship to the store if they don't have it in stock.

Be creative. No reason to pay more than you need to, as long as you have the time.
