start up
replaced the fpr on saturday and everything is just like new!!! now if i was smart i would have taken pictures of my process. the whole thing took about 3 hours after i got everything i needed. the hardest part was disconnecting the fuel lines. whoever designs engine compartments for gm should have to work on them. not too much room back there. all in all, i figure i saved at least 300 by doing myself. thanks for the help kyle!
glad to hear that fpr fixes this. I have same problem. but also, strangely, I DO NOT ANY LONGER get my normal 2-second fuel pump up? has anyone had the 2-second prime STOP working, but the car still starts and runs normally, after a hard start?
I am concerned that somehow the PCM is NOT calling for the 2-second pump run but after cranking the pump does get the run signal.
any ideas? I will start looking for the FPR soon. Yes, I have a gage and will check the press first.
