Angry start up problems again

so blazer has been perfect for about a month or so then all of a sudden it doesnt want to start cold then it got to where it didnt start warm unless you started it every hour was thinking fuel pump again because the symptoms were the same but heres the funny thing, battery was tested and was in good working order with and without a load on it But if I hooked up jumper cables the blazer would start almost instantly everytime. But now i noticed the starter isnt engaging only for about a half second then it just whines but even at a half second rate with cables on it will start and run fine. My question would be could my starter been causing this none cold start up even when it used to turn over as long as i wanted it too but still wouldnt start.

You can take the starter down to Auto Zone, etc and they can test it for you. I would have them test both the battery and starter before I bought anything.

^^^After you have them tested I think all will be well. If you have not done this yet get under the pass side wheel well flap, think it's 7mm on the solenoid and give the connections a bit of a turn. Also the main ground strap from battery to block, most likely 12 or 15 mm.

It's starter or just failing connection.

The reason I say after tested is you will have just done the re- connects except for the main ground to the block.
