I am selling my stock cd player on ebay but i need the unlock code. Since it is already out of my blazer can i just hook up a positive and a negative to it or does it have to plugged into the stock harness. If i can hook up a positive and negative what pins are which.

I think to unlock the stock radios the unit needs to be reflashed by a dealer.

 

i already know how to get the code but what im wondering is if its stored in the radio or the vehicle.
