Default Strange Question

Im not sure if i am in the right thread but here it goes. I have a 1997 2 Door 4X4. Is there any way to make this a FULL TIME 4X4? Sorry for the caps but ive asked others and they told me things that arent even related to full time just 4x4. My fiancee has the crazy idea to turn my blazer into a warthog from Halo. Strange question i know fand im sure im going to get a few laughs but anyone know?

Not sure what you mean by FULL TIME 4x4; you can leave the vehicle in 4x4 mode...either 4Hi or 4Lo.

Or do you mean by FULL TIME 4x4 to remove the limited slip so that all four wheels have power all the time?
I think this would require installation of Lockers and leaving the vehicle in 4Hi or 4Lo.

Have fun.

Some of the newer 2nd gens came with a awd/2wd/4hi/4lo setup. It's a different transfer case than the ones with just the 2wd/4hi/4lo switch. Not sure if that's what you're going for. The awd option allows power to be applied to all 4 wheels but has an open center so you can drive on the road with it.
