It was sitting for about 6 months and was a school campus vehicle before that so maintenance has been to a minimum.

So when I first start it in the morning it usually takes a minute to stay running when I'm not on the gas. And occasionally while driving, usually if I get on the throttle hard for a second, it will start to idle at 2k, when I stop at stop signs I do burn outs.

Would this be an iac/map issue? Egr?

 

Check your throttle cable. Mine was coming apart where it hooks to the throttle body. It would stick if I gave it more than half throttle.
