throttle blade sticking?

spray some throttle body cleaner on a rag and, with two fingers, you can get in there and scrub the junk off. make sure that you get the back side. check to see if you have an idle hole in the the throttle blade and make sure that it is clear if you do.
lube the gas pedal with something other than WD-40. WD-40 is NOT a lubricant. it is a Water Displacer, hence WD. use something like a penetrating oil or a power lube. you will be much better off.
