For lack of a better term I used this title only because I do not know what I should be calling it. Where the hard plastic that fits over the throttle body on the plantium, is there a casket, o ring or something there that should help seal it? I keep getting P0171 & P00174 ( I think those were there codes) anyhow, lean on bank 1 & 2. Did a smoke test of vacuum lines and smoke pours out around the throttle body and the air in take plastic if smoke pours our air must be getting in there too. Chevy garage could not answer my question but sure would sell me the new air intake parts for $350. Anyone that could help I would appreciate it, thanks.

 

Hello, there is an o-ring around the top edge of the plenum. The plenum is the black plastic housing around and underneath the throttle body.

 

The seal is not "replaceable" That is, not with a factory part. It is made/sold as part of the plastic part. I did replace it and explained it here:
