Hi fellas, I plan on removing the rack on top of the 2000 Blazer. I do need to remove the headliner in one piece so it won't catch fire when I weld the holes shut. I am going to ask you guys before I tackle the job and wind up breaking something. thanks for all the advice, Guy.

 

it easy to remove upper console.
there are 2 screws in main lighting portion under lens and one up front at windshield.

The top console on my 99 was missing the sun glass and CD holders when I got it. As Warthogdriver stated, 3 screws and 2 plugs. It was a piece of cake. 5 minute job.
