I have a small light weight boler style camper trailer, around 2000lbs. It is very small, should tow with no problems.It is very old and simple with no brakes on the trailer. It tows fine with the half ton, but when I hook up my Blazer, you would think I was dragging an aircraft carrier anchor. Any ideas?

Hmm. I would say somehow its too much. odd
I mean ive towed a 16 foot jon boat which weights nothing and thats it this far.

 

you might have alot of tounge weight which is making it feel like ur pulling alot... u alsomight have alot of drag on it too... i would also check and make sure that the tirers arn't locking up on u for some reason
