Default vacuum and steering questions

I have a 95 S-10 Chevy Blazer. Just spent 2000$ redoing the entire front end of the truck over (tie rods bearings, bushings, etc.) I also had some engine work done by a hack, so now I am cleaning up after him. Got almost everytrhing set except for a few vacuum lines that run from the 4WD actuator under the Battery. I have one vacuum line that looks like it was chewed up and spit out. It runs off of the actuator, but I have no idea where it is supposed to connect. Could some one help with a quick schematic. I have some with the HVAC and emission controls drawings form the site and Autozone.com but they do not show the vac lines for the 4wd system. I am having trouble engaging in HI, I am assuming this is the problem.

Second I just replaced the pitman and idler arms, inner and out tie rods on both sides and the ball joints only have about 6,000 miles on them. Still the steering is very loose. I am assuming that it is the steering box which has about 165 grand on it. It works very well and doesnt leak. Could anyone tell me if there is an adjuster to stiffen up the steering a bit on the steering box or does it sound the box is needing replacing.

Thanks!!

Frank

Vacuum and Vapor Hose DiagramsVacuum Actuation SystemHere is a picture of your vacum lines. hopefully this will help. I would check the rag joint on your steering and make sure that is not where your play is .

I to have done alot of work trying to get my front end to stop wondering so bad . Today I lifted it up and did a shake down on the front end theidler arm is the only play that I noticed , so I changed that out and bought new shocks . when doing this work I noticed one of the cv axle boots was unclamped the big side and full of dirt and junk . Got it cleaned out real good with brake cleaner and high pressure air then packed it with new grease then clamped it back on . I don't no what fixxed it but it is definatly better . I have had this vehicle for awhile now and the front end has been screwed up since Ive owned it , this is the third idler arm I have replaced and its the best one you can buy .

their is a way to tighten upo the gearbox, their is a screw on top of the box with a allan key kead on it and a jam nut, try turing that a 1/4 turn at a time and see if the steering gets better, just mark where it originally was in case you dont like the feel afterwards.
