Default weird problem

you know how your blazer will sit over night and you get in and push the gas in the morning to leaveand its got that louder "wind" sound when its cold for a few seconds??

If i set at a light with the ac on or at a drive thru or something i get that sound again when i take off. Its only when the ac is on though. Sometimes its louder than the morning time and i gotta drive for about 10 seconds to get it to go away.

anyone know what im talking about? anyone have this?

My guess is that you're talking about your cooling fan. You will probably hear it in the morning because the engine starts cold and it's at a faster idle til it warms up. You will hear it again when the a/c is on because there is more cooling required in a/c mode.

Yep, i know exactly what that is, its your engine fan. What it has a is a clutch system in it. When the ac is on and the engine gets up to 210 it will lock the fan into direct drive mode and force more air through the radiator to keep it cool. Once things cool off the clutch turns off and the fan keeps turning but at slower speed and it allows for the fan to slip some so it doesnt drag the motor as much.
