Default Weird thing happened.

I haven't posted on here in a while because I had parked my blazer because it wasn't idling right. It would Rev up and down and sometimes stall. I was going to look into it but life got in the way. Well life is no longer in the way as the succubus I mean wife left. First things first it looked like **** and had mold inside so I paid $400 for detailing. Started it up and it ran great. No idle problems. The only thing I've done to it so far was replaced rear caliper as the brake was rubbing and charged the ac... I'm having a fuel evap system code and my filler neck keeps filling with gas when I try to full it up. I'm going to drop the gas tank when this fill up gets almost empty. Well that's what's going on so far and for your entertainment here are some before and after.

I'll bet the detail guy wasn't too happy to get that job, but he killed it. Looks great.

Sorry to hear about the wife (or happy to hear, depending on the circumstances).

You may not need to drop the tank for a gas fill problem. It can be the fill side but can also be the vent side.

Life is always getting in the way, that’s for sure.

I am imagining the conversation with the detail guy. " My std rate for a mid-size SUV is $150, when can I get started? Today, great can I have the keys? Lets take a look inside and see what we are dealing with. Like I said my rate is $400, plus a 50% tip." LOL

He did such a great job I got him coming back out for the minivan I'm going to sell... He's actually very well priced. All the other detailer around here wanted either a grand or close to it...

I started having fuel fill problems after having the fuel pump replaced. Was going a bit crazy trying to track down the problem. Ended up just being the vapor hose from the tank to the evap cannister being pinched when the tank was reinstalled. Make sure all those hoses aren't being squeezed anywhere.
