First off my Blazer is a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4x4 with the 4.3 vortec. My 4x4 is not working and I was wondering what this wire goes to a friend put a new motor in it for me because I didn't have the time. The doner truck was a 2000 GMC Jimmy 4x4 with the 4.3 vortec. My friend used the wiring harness off of the Jimmy so he didn't have to undo every connection on the motor. And now it's in there are no problems or check engine lights other than service 4x4 and there is no connector for this wire on the Jimmy harness.



This is off a different Blazer where it shows where that wire plugs in but I still have no idea what that wire is for or what it does does anyone know?

 

Let me start by saying I won't have the answer..

But knowing what color the wires are may help someone narrow it down a little easier.

 

Looks a lot like an ABS sensor wire plug, but on my 98 it's in a entirely different location.

 

Brown and red.
