Default where is the hall effect switch in a 95 jimmy?

before you say in the distributor,
it has a early horizontal cap with no switch in the distributor???
or does it even have one?

i have no spark at the coil and no
pulse signal when cranking
could it be the cam or crank sensor?
thanks fior any help!

Default hall effect

the sensor is held in place in hte distributor by 2 little screws. it is fairly easy to change but you may have to remove the upper intake. i would start with the crank position sensor, but i am not much of a chevy mechanic. everything i replace while chasing down my problem seems to be wrong.
