Where's the BCM??? 2000 Blazer

Default Where's the BCM??? 2000 Blazer

I have a 2000 Blazer, 4 WD. Can't locate the BCM. Anybody know where it is?

Low center of the dash. Behind the center console if you have the holders or above it if you have the tray.

Under the center of the dash mounted to the HVAC housing. It will have 3 electrical connectors running into it.

That's handy, i was looking for the same answer, and this thread gave it. However, just to be clear, its behind the cover just above the center console...right? If so, I imagine that the center console would have to be removed first, and I was just looking, and saw no screws or other means of attachment. What holds it?

Easiest way to access the BCM, is to remove the kickplate on the driver side, and its mounted by a plastic bracket about 10 inches up under the kick plate, almost directly behind the IP fuse box thats in the door jam. (but inside the dash)

The plastic bracket holding the BCM doesnt have any screws. it just unclips and clips back in.
